⚡ TL;DR
We don't track you. We don't profile you. We don't sell your data. We don't have your data. If that sounds too good to be true, read on — we'll prove it section by section.
1. Who We Are
InvisibleWare ("we," "us," or "the people who think surveillance capitalism is a disease") operates the website invisibleware.com. We curate and sell anti-surveillance technology because we believe privacy isn't a feature — it's a human right.
2. Data We Collect
Brace yourself. Here's the comprehensive list of personal data we actively collect from you:
[ This space intentionally left blank ]
That's right. Nothing. No cookies. No pixels. No fingerprinting. No analytics dashboards where someone stares at your mouse movements. Nothing.
3. Analytics & Tracking
Most websites bury trackers in fine print and hope you won't notice. Here's what we run:
- Google Search Console (server-side only) — This tells us which search terms bring people here. It runs on Google's servers, not yours. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track your session, and doesn't know who you are. We see aggregate numbers like "47 people searched for 'IR blocking hoodie' this week." That's it.
- Google Analytics: Installed and tracking your every click — Not installed. Not ever.
- Facebook Pixel: Feeding your data to Meta — We'd rather eat the server.
- Hotjar / FullStory / session recording: Watching you scroll — Absolutely not.
4. Cookies
We don't set any first-party cookies. Zero. You won't see a cookie banner on this site because there's nothing to consent to.
If you visit a third-party vendor through one of our affiliate links (see Section 6), their site may set cookies. That's between you and them. We recommend a good browser extension.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following external services:
Google Fonts
Loaded for typography (Space Grotesk & Inter). Google may log the request. If this bothers you, a content blocker will handle it.
Google Search Console
Server-side only. No client-side JavaScript. No cookies. No tracking pixels. Just search performance data that never touches your browser.
6. Affiliate Links & Vendor Relationships
Let's be real: we're an anti-surveillance company, not a charity. Here's how we keep the lights on.
Some product links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the vendor. This costs you nothing extra.
We use affiliate relationships with vendors we've hand-selected because they make genuinely useful gear for the movement. We will never:
- Recommend a product just because the commission is higher
- Accept payment to feature or promote a product we haven't vetted
- Track which specific users click which affiliate links (we literally can't — see Section 3)
When you click an affiliate link, the vendor's site may use cookies, analytics, or tracking. We can't control what Amazon, for example, does once you're on their turf. We recommend browsing in a private window or using tools like uBlock Origin.
7. Data We Store
If you place an order, the minimum shipping information is processed through our fulfillment partners. Per our Shipping Policy, shipping addresses are purged from active databases 30 days after confirmed delivery.
We don't maintain customer accounts, wishlists, browsing histories, or "personalized recommendations." The concept of a shadow profile makes us physically ill.
8. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK under GDPR). Mostly because we don't knowingly collect data from anyone. But legally: if you're under 13, please get a parent involved before buying tactical gear.
9. Your Rights
Under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar laws, you have rights to access, delete, and restrict processing of your personal data. Here's the thing:
Right to access your data: We have none to show you.
Right to delete your data: Can't delete what doesn't exist.
Right to opt out of sale: We don't sell data. To anyone. Ever.
Right to non-discrimination: We treat all visitors equally. Like strangers. Because you are.
If you still want to exercise any of these rights for the sake of it, contact us and we will respond within 30 days. We might also high-five you through the screen.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and post a notice on the site. We will never change this policy to start tracking you. If that day ever comes, the company has been compromised and you should burn everything.
11. Contact
Questions about this policy? Concerns? Just want to tell us we're doing it right? Reach us via our Contact page.
Most privacy policies are written by lawyers to protect the company. This one was written by us to protect you. If the internet had more policies like this, we wouldn't need to exist.
